Corrections policy

If something on this site is wrong, we want to fix it and say that we fixed it.

What counts as a correction

A correction is a factual inaccuracy: a wrong location, an outdated team size, a service we attributed incorrectly, a misquoted price, an incorrect founding year, a source that no longer supports the claim it is attached to.

A disagreement with an editorial judgement — a best-fit label, a ranking position, a tradeoff we described — is not a correction. You are welcome to make the case, but editorial conclusions remain ours.

How to submit one

Tell us the page, the specific claim you dispute, what the correct information is, and a source that supports it. Requests without a source take longer because we must find the evidence ourselves.

What happens next

Every request is logged with a timestamp and a status. An editor checks the claim against the sources on file. If the claim was wrong, we update the page, update the last-verified date and record the change in the profile's correction history.

If we conclude the original information was correct, we tell you why and keep the record of the request.

Removal requests

An agency may request removal of information that is incorrect. Removal of accurate, sourced information is not granted as a commercial favour, and we do not accept payment in exchange for removing content.
