Cookie policy

We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep the site working and to understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising cookies.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies such as local storage work the same way. They let a site remember something between page views.

Cookies we use

We group the storage we set into two categories.

  • Strictly necessary: sign-in and session storage used when an agency owner or a member of our editorial team signs in, plus security tokens that protect forms from abuse. The site cannot work without these.
  • Analytics: privacy-conscious, aggregate measurement of events such as a search being run, a filter being applied, a profile being viewed or an outbound link being clicked. These are not used to build advertising profiles and are not sold.

What we do not use

We do not set advertising or retargeting cookies, we do not sell data collected through cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites through this site.

Third-party content

Some pages link out to agency websites, publications, government and educational sources. Those links open in a new tab and the destination site sets its own cookies under its own policy. Where an embedded video is shown, the video provider may set cookies when it loads.

Controlling cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can browse the public parts of the site with analytics storage blocked. Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent signing in to an agency dashboard or the editorial tools.

Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers, so there is nothing on this site for those signals to switch off.

Questions and changes

If a new cookie is introduced, this page is updated before it is used. To ask a question about cookies or make a data request, use the contact page or read the privacy policy.
